Teen forced to marry a STRAY DOG for the good of the village

Mangli Munda really pulled the short straw when she discovered that she was too unlucky to marry a man as it would bring destruction to the family and her community at the remote village in eastern India.

The local guru said that she would have to marry the pooch to ward off her evil spell onto the confused canine instead.

Still, it turned out to be quite the ceremony and Sheru the dog arrived at the bash in a chauffeur driven car.

Mangli was not at all happy with having to marry Sheru, but knows that it was necessary.

She said: “I am marrying a dog because the village elders believe that my evil spell will be passed on to the dog.

“After that is done, the man I will marry will have a long life.”

Her dad, Sri Amnmunda, added: “The village elders told us that we should organise the wedding as soon as we can.

“We had to make sure that the evil spell is destroyed.

“And marrying a dog is the only way to get rid of the bad luck.”

Apparently weddings to dogs are nothing new to the village and Magli will be able to find an actual man after her divorce to Sheru is finalised.

With the lavish wedding now over, Mangli now has to act the doting wife and raise Sheru as her pet for the next few months.
